After an incredible 36 years of service to Bushland Health Group, long-serving Board Director Graham Brown has retired from the Board. We sincerely thank Graham for his dedication, leadership and contribution to our organisation and community, and wish him all the very best for his retirement.

As Jean Watson celebrates her 107th birthday on 16 August, we are honoured to celebrate a woman whose life has been defined by service, family, determination and an unwavering zest for life.

Residents at Karingal Gardens got into the festive spirit early with a creative Easter hat-making activity, enjoying a colourful and laughter-filled day together. The session sparked creativity and connection, with plenty of smiles all around.

Harmony Day Brings Joy Across Our Homes

Residents and staff at Alkira Lodge, Banyula Lodge, and Karingal Gardens came together to celebrate Harmony Day with a vibrant showcase of music, dance, and culture from around the world. From South Indian drummers to traditional performances spanning multiple cultures, the day was filled with colour, connection, and joy.

Today our residents enjoyed a creative arts and crafts activity, putting their scrapbooking skills to the test as they designed personalised welcome signs for their rooms.

What began with a few nervous laughs quickly became a celebration of confidence, individuality, and the joy of being seen.

IPC Week 2025 was a vibrant celebration of learning, teamwork, and fun! Staff across the organisation came together for a week filled with creativity, knowledge-sharing, and laughter — all in support of infection prevention and control. A huge thank you to our IPC Leads and Leisure and Lifestyle Teams for working together to create such an inspiring and memorable week! 🌿💪
