Harmony Day Brings Joy Across Our Homes

Residents and staff at Alkira Lodge, Banyula Lodge, and Karingal Gardens came together to celebrate Harmony Day with a vibrant showcase of music, dance, and culture from around the world. From South Indian drummers to traditional performances spanning multiple cultures, the day was filled with colour, connection, and joy.

Today our residents enjoyed a creative arts and crafts activity, putting their scrapbooking skills to the test as they designed personalised welcome signs for their rooms.

What began with a few nervous laughs quickly became a celebration of confidence, individuality, and the joy of being seen.

IPC Week 2025 was a vibrant celebration of learning, teamwork, and fun! Staff across the organisation came together for a week filled with creativity, knowledge-sharing, and laughter — all in support of infection prevention and control. A huge thank you to our IPC Leads and Leisure and Lifestyle Teams for working together to create such an inspiring and memorable week! 🌿💪

Residents at Banyula Lodge, Karingal Gardens, and Alkira Lodge enjoyed a heartwarming Fiji Day celebration filled with cultural dance, music, and smiles. A beautiful tribute to tradition and togetherness.

On Thursday, 18th September, Banyula Lodge had the pleasure of hosting over 50 energetic and talented students from Old Bar Public School. The visit brought not only captivating performances but also a joyful atmosphere filled with laughter, smiles, and meaningful connections.

Banyula Lodge celebrated Father’s Day with vintage cars, BBQs, and joyful rides. Residents enjoyed the sunshine and special moments honoring fathers. Thanks to our staff and local car clubs for making it unforgettable—can’t wait for the next one!

On Aged Care Employee Day, our homes were filled with joy, colour, and the warmth of community as staff and residents came together to honour the incredible contributions of those who care for our elders every day. The highlight of the celebration was a series of cultural dance performances by our talented staff, showcasing the rich diversity and heritage that makes our team so special.

Bushland Health Group would like to extend its heartfelt thanks to the State Emergency Service (SES) and Fire Rescue for their swift and professional response during the recent flood emergency that impacted residents at our Bushland Place Villa Unit complex.
