A broad range of Residential Aged Care accommodation is available in the Manning's major town of Taree and in the coastal village of Old Bar on the beautiful mid north coast of N.S.W.

Our 180 dedicated aged care staff and volunteers provide outstanding services to over 320 residents of independent living villa units, apartments, hostels and  nursing home. In addition, the central catering department provides meals for the local Meals on Wheels Service.

Established in 1958 to meet a specific need for Residential Aged Care, the Staff and Honorary Board of this community based charity have worked with the Council to ensure the growth of services match the growth in demand for this type of accommodation.

The community and staff can rest assured the motivation to provide the best possible care to current and future residents will result in improved and expanded services in the future.

The organisation is one of only a handful of Aged Care Providers in Australia to use the services of an Aged Care Nurse Pracititioner to enhance the care given to residents at the Karingal Gardens Aged Care facility.

The Nurse Practitioner provides advanced clinical assessments and comprehensive interventions for residents that result in improved health outcomes, improved quality of life and reduced hospitalisation rates. The Nurse Practitioner works in close collaboration with Doctors to deliver quality service and rapid access to healthcare services.

B. Acute,Allied Health and Home Care

On the 1st July 2007 the delivery of Acute, Allied Health and Home Care Services offered through the Mayo Healthcare Group (www.mayo.net.au) became the responsibility of Bushland Health Group Ltd through a lease and licence arrangement.

These services are offered on the mid north coast of NSW between Hawks Nest and Half Way Creek near Grafton.
